Publisher should honor Location OLS
Published calendars display all event locations, regardless of OLS settings for Locations. User would like to see Location OLS honored
Use case: User has a 'vehicle' location that they do not want to appear on published calendar. Setting the OLS for the Publisher Seat to "Not Visible" to prevent it from appearing on the published calendar.

Pamela MasonInstead of this being using OLS I would rather it be some other option on the Location. Either that or be able to add a Location search in edition to the Event search. It would send all events in the Event Search but only include Location name if the that Location is in the Location Search.

Kathy San AntonioI think I agree with Pamela that using searches and search criteria would be a better way to accomplish this.

Bonnie Hendrickson MergedNot sure if this has already been suggested, but we have events that use locations that should not be posted on the university calendar - for example, dressing rooms or production studios. I have to do separate reservations for those spaces so they don't show up on the calendar.
It would be awesome if I could include them in the one reservation (so the reservation is complete and everything is in one place) but only indicate on the calendar where the event will actually take place.
I do related events now and that's ok for bigger, more complicated events, but for a simple trivia night that requires both the theater and a production studio, it would be nice to keep it all together. -

Bonnie Hendrickson MergedMany of our outdoor events reserve bad weather back-up locations. It would be nice if we could assign those locations on the original reservation rather than having to create a second back-up reservation so they don't show up on calendar postings. So someway to designate the location that should be listed on the calendar.
(I thought I had submitted this already but I can't find it here. If I did and this is a duplicate I apologize.) -

Pamela MasonThere is a feature request for only publishing occurrences a Resource is on when using a Resource search for a Calendar Feed. For us this fixes the issue of being able to control which occurrences go on the Calendar see all of our Calendar feeds are either Location or Event Search that are Resource based.
I really don't think this should be a setting on the Location but needs to be in how the feed is setup. This is because we have some Calendar that are internal and having a setting that control that location for every calendar feed is going to be too restrictive.
