Build a Browser or Gmail Extension to turn Reference Numbers into 25Live URLs

I have a pretty big pipe-dream here, but I wanted to put it out there because it keeps coming up in my head as a way to save time / make life easier. I'm aware of 25Live's email feature, but this is separate from that.

A lot of times, we'll get an email (or have to send someone an email) with a 25Live reference number in it. We use Gmail ("Google Workspace for Education"), but I'm sure this is also true for schools on Outlook.

I would love if the 25L reference numbers in these emails could automatically be turned into URLs that link to that 25Live event; instead of us having to copy/paste the reference ID into the 25Live Event Search to go to that event.

Because the reference ID isn't in the URL structure I'm thinking this would be a little complicated, but not impossible, to make happen.

It could be implemented as either a Gmail Add-on (which makes it email-platform specific), or a Browser Extension (which then would have to be made for Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc).
